Silverleigh Care Home is easy to reach via Devon’s main roads. Axminster lies at the junction of the A35 and A358. The A35 is a major east–west trunk road that runs through Axminster (heading toward Honiton and Exeter in one direction and Dorchester/Lyme Regis in the other). The A358 connects Axminster northward to the M5/A303 corridor via Ilminster. For example, from Exeter take the M5 south to Honiton (J28) and follow the A35 into Axminster, turning off at Trinity Square into Silver Street. From London or the north, take the M5 to Taunton (J25) then the A358 east via Ilminster to Axminster. From Lyme Regis or Dorchester, simply follow the A35 into Axminster. Silverleigh Care Home is on Silver Street in the town centre (off the Trinity Square roundabout). Limited free parking is available on site (with additional street and public parking nearby)

The nearest railway station is Axminster (served by South Western Railway on the West of England Main Line). Regular direct trains run from Exeter St Davids to Axminster (journey about 45–50 minutes) and from London Waterloo to Axminster (about 2½–3 hours via Yeovil). Upon arrival at Axminster station, Silver Street is only about a 0.6‑mile (1 km) walk (roughly 8 minutes) southwest along Silver Street. Alternatively, taxis are available outside the station. There is also a local bus stop just outside the station: Stagecoach route 30 (Taunton–Axminster) and First Devon’s 885 (Seaton/Beer–Axminster) run to the town centre. These stop at Trinity Square (Axminster bus terminus), a 2‑minute ride from the station, and from there Silver Street is a very short, level walk back.

Several local bus routes stop near Silverleigh. The main Axminster bus hub is at Trinity Square (on the A358), just a minute or two’s walk from Silver Street. Stagecoach South West buses, including the 44A (Exeter City–Axminster) and 379 (Axminster–Seaton/Beer), call at Trinity Square. First Wessex services X51/X53 (Weymouth–Bridport–Axminster) and Axe Valley Mini-Travel 885 (Axminster–Seaton–Beer) also stop at Trinity Square. (Trinity Square has multiple “Stop A”/“Stop B” bays; check timetables or street signs for the correct stop.) From Trinity Square it’s a very short (flat) walk to Silver Street. In practice, you can use Google Maps or Traveline to plan the precise route and timing.

Silverleigh Care Home is fully accessible. The ground floor is step-free and all public areas are wheelchair-friendly. A passenger lift provides access to the first floor. Corridors and doorways are wide, and accessible toilets and en‑suite facilities are available for residents.
